On Saturday Oct 26 an astounding $3.8 million was generated by the generosity of nearly 1000 of BC’s most influential philanthropists and health care leaders at the TELUS Night of a Thousand Stars Gala. I had the pleasure to DJ for the after party of that event at the Vancouver Convention Center and was also sponsored by the Vancouver General Hospital & UBC Hospital.

The 1000 stars hash tag fit very well with the nearly 1000 generous donors of the Brain Breakthroughs campaign.

I was very excited to be a part of this event and loved the way everything was organized.

The after party did start late at nearly 11pm with some of the younger crowd dancing to the tunes I played and it was a great start of the night.

It did seem that there weren’t as many people as I expected at the after party but still I enjoyed DJaying there and seeing the joy in people as they danced till the end of the night with all the different genres of music I played.
