A big hit song by Prince Royce, Zion & Lennox called Trampa which means Trap. This song sounds very close to something that DJ Snake would produce and I’m a big fan.
You can’t deny that in recent years Spanish (especially reggaeton) music has dominated all charts (just like Iraqi music dominated the rest of the Arab world) and this song is no exception. Aside from looking at the numbers (music charts, youtube views, music streaming platforms) just see how the west (mostly USA) has had many artists collaborate with Spanish speaking artists to produce some amazing hit songs and they are also speaking Spanish which tells you where I’m going with this.
Somehow the English music scene seems to be somewhat stale in the last few years with not many hits being released and if any, are collaborations similar to what I mentioned already. I’m not saying these are facts but just what I’m seeing (most parties seem to play older English music but no lack of new Spanish/reggaeton music). That tells you something. I actually like this trend (same for Iraqi music domination)
I think the video clip is spot on and I hope you enjoy this week’s song. Don’t forget the lyrics and translation in the rest of this post as usual from DJ Eddie.

The Z and the L Who saw her out there She is pretty, but she has a trap She looks like witchcraft She controls her poison And after when she has you there She is pretty, but she has a trap Oh!
